All-New Sporty Design

Escape has gotten its first major redesign since 2013 and it's a head-turner!! The slightly wider stance and longer body, combined with a lower roofline emphasize its athletic, flowing shape. From the front, the design takes inspiration from Ford performance cars - the shield-shaped trapezoidal grille reflects the sixth-generation Mustang styling, for example. All topped off with an all-new lineup of wheels.

Room to Move

An all-new interior takes comfort and flexibility to new heights. An available 12.3" digital instrument cluster keeps the driver informed while the available B&O Sound System from Bang & Olufsen delivers optimum audio. The new sliding second-row seats allow owners to optimize their interior space. The passenger experience has improved too with new seat designs and seating materials as well as improved entry and exit.

New SE Sport

Escape SE Sport is all-new for 2020, featuring the fourth-generation hybrid power-train  that starts with a new 2.5L Atkinson-cycle engine combined with an electric motor and new electronic continuously variable transmission. Black-accented trim and Ebony Black-painted wheels set the tone on the outside while the 12.3" digital instrument cluster and leather-wrapped steering wheel add to the driving experience on the inside.

Steering Toward Safety

Safety features are expected, and the new Escape is committed to safety with new Ford Co‑Pilot 360 technologies as well as AdvanceTrac with RSC (Roll Stability Control), which also features Curve Control. This technology aids in accident avoidance while the Personal Safety System and Safety Canopy work to protect passengers in the event of a collision.
